SHOCKING TRADE: Vikings have signed contract with top QB prospect.

The Minnesota Vikings continue to do their due diligence on the top-notch quarterback prospects of this class.

With Caleb Williams already off the table, as the Chicago Bears aren’t going to trade down from No. 1, it seems like the Vikings are exploring all other options.

In fact, they’re even going to host LSU star Jayden Daniels for a top-30 visit, according to a report by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Daniels has been projected to be the No. 2 pick for most of the pre-draft process, with other scouts having him at No. 3.

The Vikings are reportedly looking to trade up, with the Arizona Cardinals (No. 4) and Los Angeles Chargers (No. 5) as potential trade partners.

Should that be the case, they could only get Daniels if both the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots pass on Daniels.

Also, with all the hype surrounding McCarthy lately, perhaps it wouldn’t be that shocking to see him climb all the way to No. 2.

Whatever the case, the Vikings could definitely do a lot worse than to get Daniels.

An elite and explosive athlete and perennial dual-threat, he was one of the most electric and entertaining players to watch in all of college football, running away with the Heisman trophy despite some stout competition.

The Vikings are determined to find the greatest replacement for Kirk Cousins, and they won’t stop at nothing to achieve this goal.
