Shocking In: Sacramento Kings player facing murder charge in Las Vegas

Previous Sacramento Rulers G Association player Chance Comanche and his better half are having to deal with murder penalties in the vanishing of 23-year-old Marayna Rodgers following the disclosure of human remaining parts, specialists said Sunday. Comanche, 27, and his girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, 19, have been charged with murder in the death of Rodgers, according to a press release issued by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. Based on information gathered following the arrests of Comanche and Harnden, the police stated that they discovered Rodgers’ remains in a desert area in Henderson, Nevada. Criminal investigators confirmed that Comanche and Harnden were answerable for the homicide of Rodgers, specialists said. Rodgers, a Washington-based medical assistant, was in Las Vegas when she vanished. According to the police, Rodgers was out with friends on December 5 and had previously scheduled a meeting with Comanche and Harnden before going missing. On Wednesday, Harnden was taken into custody in Las Vegas on suspicion of kidnapping. Friday, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and the California FBI Criminal Apprehension Team assisted in the arrest of Comanche on suspicion of kidnapping. Police said the charges against Comanche and Harnden will be altered to kill following the disclosure of Rodgers’ body.

The Clark County Detention Center houses Harnden. While awaiting extradition to Nevada, Comanche is being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail. When the Stockton Kings, a G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, played the G League Ignite at Dollar Loan Center in nearby Henderson on December 5, Comanche was in the Las Vegas area. Stockton then, at that point, visited the Tear City Remix on Dec. 9 in Portland, Oregon, prior to getting back to California to play the Salt Lake City Stars on Tuesday. The Rulers delivered Comanche on Friday, without further ado before he was set up for the Sacramento Province prison. Comanche, a center who stands 6 feet 11 inches tall, excelled at Beverly Hills High School before enrolling at the University of Arizona, where he played in 60 games from 2015 to 2017. In the wake of going undrafted in 2017, Comanche played for the G Association’s Memphis Hustle and Canton Charge, the Ball Association’s Enid Criminals and Yeni Mamak Spor of the Turkish B-ball First Association.
Comanche endorsed with the Stockton Rulers in November 2022. He endorsed with the Portland Pioneers last season and made his NBA debut against the Brilliant State Fighters on April 9. On October 2, Comanche made his Sacramento Kings debut. He was postponed 10 days after the fact yet in this manner re-endorsed with the Stockton Rulers.
