Chicago Whelps legend and Baseball Lobby of Famer Ryne Sandberg has been determined to have metastatic prostate malignant growth, he declared Monday.

The 64-year-old Sandberg, who played 15 seasons for the Whelps from 1982 to 1997, shared the insight about his finding in a web-based entertainment post.

“To my Chicago Whelps, Public Baseball Corridor of Popularity, broadened Baseball Family, the city of Chicago, and all my unwavering fans, I need to share some private news,” Sandberg wrote in an Instagram post. ” Last week, I Iearned that I have been determined to have metastatic prostate malignant growth. I have started therapy, and I’m encircled by my caring spouse Margaret, our unbelievably steady family, the best clinical consideration group, and our dear companions.
Sandberg is generally viewed as one of the best second baseman in MLB history. He won the Public Association MVP at age 24 of every 1984 and was chosen to 10 successive MLB Top pick Games from 1984 to 1993. The Spokane, Washington, local additionally won nine Gold Glove grants and seven Silver Slugger grants during his 16-year vocation, which incorporates his 1981 freshman season with the Philadelphia Phillies wherein he had just six at-bats throughout the season.
