Just In: Rams Lineman Signs with Vikings in shocking move that Worth $84 million

The Los Angeles Rams have signed a fair amount of players since free agency started. With that being said, they have also lost a fair amount of players, and that was once again the case on Monday. Defensive lineman Jonah Williams met and signed with the Minnesota Vikings, an NFC team that is looking to rebuild a bit. This is the second member of the defensive line that the team has lost in the past few days, as franchise legend Aaron Donald announced his retirement on Friday.

Williams finished the season with two sacks, 49 tackles, and four tackles for loss while playing the 11th-most snaps on defense. He is now finally with the Vikings, as he almost ended up with the team earlier in his career. The Rams signed Williams as an undrafted free agent after the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent a season on the practice squad before finally getting on the field in 2021. He was cut in the middle of the season and was picked up by Minnesota, but a failed physical prevented him from staying with the team.

Williams’ snap check has been relentlessly expanding over the course of his career, and the Rams will have to be discover somebody to require those snaps this up and coming season.
Whether the team decides to sign somebody in free organization or take a protective line prospect within the up and coming NFL Draft, that’s a portion of the group that must be tended to on the off chance that they need to fight this season.
