ALLEN PARK — Tracy Walker’s run with the Detroit Lions is ending after six seasons. The Lions released Walker on Tuesday afternoon, and the veteran safety posted a farewell message to his supporters soon after the news was reported on social media.
The move to cut Walker saves the Lions $5.5 million in salary cap space, per Over The Cap.
