GoodNews: Drake Maye Drafted to Raiders Active Roaster

MLB holds its Rule 5 Draft each winter during the Winter Meetings. The draft is a way for players in different associations to get poached by new groups, and ideally track down a quicker track to the majors.

The Heavenly messengers were among many groups hoping to work on its program by adding players in the current year’s draft. Despite the fact that they sat tight during the significant association stage, they made two choices — previous Yankees prospect Eric Wagaman and Boston Red Sox pitcher Ryan Mill operator — in the small time part of the Standard 5 draft.

If the Raiders are in the market to add a quarterback and they have their eyes on one of the top guys, the team will likely need to trade up. Dalton Miller of Pro Football Network pitched a trade that sends the Raiders’ 2024 first and second-round picks along with a 2025 first-round pick and a 2025 second-round pick to the Arizona Cardinals for the No. 3 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
