Capitals will be emptied by Oilers on Black Friday

If you decided to go shopping on Black Friday instead of watching the Washington Capitals this afternoon, you made the right choice.
The Capitals lost to the Edmonton Oilers 5-0, ending their winning streak at five games.
Evander Kane scored the first goal at 14:.10.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins doubled the lead with a time of 15:.
24.
In the second period, Evan Bouchard increased the lead to 3-0 with a time of 3:44.
Leon Draisaitl made it 4-0 with a 4: 48.
Those goals from Bouchard and Draisaitl came on the power play, as did Draisaitl’s second goal of the day at 18: 37.
Caps lost the first game and was 21-6.
The Caps outscored the Oilers 11-9 in the second period and 8-5 in the third, and the Oilers outscored the team by a total of 35-25 on shots.
No one scored in the third and final period.
The Caps lost T.J.
in the second period when Oshie was checked in the face with a stick by Mattias Ekholm.
There was no call from infamous referee Wes McCauley who stole the show.
In the third period, the Caps lost Alex Alekseev, who hit his left shoulder hard on the ice.
The Caps thought they had ended their power play woes with a goal from Alex Ovechkin, but McCauley retaliated with an errant draw.
It was a very bad day for the Caps.
Capitals coach Spencer Carberry said Oshie does not intend to travel to California with the team.
Carberry also added this about the brutal power play that ended 0-for-5: There’s a ton of different things: personnel, puck management, puck retrieval, decisions, routes.
Anyway, I saw it from both units tonight.
We’re going to continue to try to find a combination of five players that can do what it takes to run the power play and be effective on the power play in this league.
