CARACAS, Venezuela – Vic Davalillo, a 16-year Significant Association Baseball veteran who started his vocation in Cleveland and later won two Worldwide championship, has kicked the bucket, as per reports.

He was either 84 or 87 years of age, as per various sources. Baseball Reference records Davalillo’s date of birth as July 30, 1939. In any case, the 1969 Wearing News Baseball Register records his introduction to the world year as 1936, while his biographer, Asdrúbal Fuenmayor, wrote in 2006 that Davalillo was brought into the world in 1936.
A local of Venezuela, Davalillo endorsed as a pitcher with the then-Cincinnati Redlegs in 1958. His agreement was subsequently bought by Cleveland in 1961 and, after a position change to outfield, he won the Triple-A Worldwide Association batting title in 1962 with a .346 batting normal that season. The following season, Davalillo made Cleveland’s First day of the season program and batted leadoff while playing centerfield against Minnesota in the group’s 1963 season opener
